Be Welcome Here...
At St. Barnabas’ Church, all people are truly welcome, whether to worship with us, to share in our ministries, or simply to visit our historic and beautiful church. St. Barnabas’ believes worship in community to be the heart of our life in Christ. Our congregation is faithful in worship and active in reaching out to one another, to the community, and to the world. Some of the things that are special about our church are:
- We seek to make our liturgies welcoming while embracing the rich traditions of our Anglican heritage.
- We reach out to those in need, providing food, shelter, and financial support.
- Our youth are an integral part of the life of the parish, with a dynamic and fun children's ministry, social events, and outreach activities.
Our 23nd season of Candlelight Concerts Continues into 2012
Our historic church, built in 1772, offers a most attractive setting for chamber music. The performances spotlight local professional artists; many feature music contemporary to the church building. Following the concerts, please join us for a reception in the nearby Marlborough Hall to meet the musicians.
The second half of our concert series includes:
March 25, 2012 - Robert Birch (trumpet) with Kathy Birch (cello), and the Bellini Ensemble present a program of music for trumpet and strings ranging from the 17th to 20th centuries.
Our traditional champagne reception will follow!
The concerts are offered free of charge as a gesture of welcome to the community. Our support comes from the Vestry
of St. Barnabas' Church, from patrons, and from a free-will offering received at each concert.
